Student Council's board election on December 15, 2005
Student Council's board election on December 15, 2005

The board of EBS Student Council has stood for the wellbeing and organisation of student life for almost thirteen years now. The two-year term of this board is coming to an end so in relation to that a new board must take over in the next semester.

On November 30, 2007 the election of the board of EBS Student Council will take place. In relation to that, all students who feel that they have the need to conduct student life and feel that they have the time, skills and experience to do that, are expected to run for the three-member board. The new board will accede on February 1, 2008. The board is elected by the speciality representatives or in other words the Student Council. Unlike the previous board, this board will be elected for a term of one year (February 2008 until January 2009).

Three people together can run for the board, not each member separately. In order to apply for this position you must have a clear development strategy, which would assure the best possible opportunities for the student council to develop in the following year. All the ideas of the three candidates for the board must be reflected in the election platform, which must embrace all plans for the term - for student council, course leaders, institutions and their employees. Additionally the CV, motion and motivational letters of all three member candidates must be submitted.

The required documents for applying must be submitted to the Student Council in room 204 and e-mail esindus@ebs.ee at the latest on November 23, 2007.

More information, thorough conditions and procedural rules for running for the board can be found here:
