"Help the underprivileged" in Maidla orphanage in year 2006
This year our charity project will take place on December 6 to 13, which includes gathering different commodities for Haiba orphanage (in Kernu). Haiba orphanage's members are in various age, from 5 months old baby to a 21-year-old. Mostly there are teenage youngsters.
The manager of Haiba orphanage, Sirje Just, says that the children need musical instruments, kitchen tools (dishes), mind-developing games and fruits instead of candies. Also proper clothes are expected. They would also be grateful for financial help.
All things are collected in Student Council's room 204 until December 13.
The charity project ends by a joint event in Haiba orphanage. Depending on the weather the event will take place inside the orphanage or nearby. The finishing part will be EBS Chamber Choir's short concert.
In previous years we have helped Maidla orphanage, Tallinn Lasnamäe orphanage and Väikemõise orphanage for small children.
