Thursday after the midnight was in Club Hollywood elected the Tallinn Student Talent 2008. Risto Saaremets from Estonian Business School charmed jury the most. In the serial event of students, Risto, who brought the first victory to EBS, appealed judges with a plastic and distinguished performance. There were five participators from different Tallinn Universities at this first launched event.
When Liina from Tallin Technical University arrived along her harp at Club Hollywood stage, the party was at its peak. If initially modest "song" from an Estonian cult movie "Spring" was a bit awkward, then after a moment it turned into Tanel Padar`ish rocking, which charmed both, the audience and jury and brought her an honourable second place.
The third place went to Mailis from Tallinn Pedagogical Seminar who approached to the talent round by dancing very creatively. Competitors had a chance to prove themselves in four different rounds- introductory, video, circus and talent.
In Weekend leisure portal was elected the crowds´ favourite, who turned out to be the eye-candy Siim. All the fans of Siim had also gathered to Club Hollywood to passionately and deafeningly cheer for him and he left no-one unimpressed with his naughty striptease show.
It was a quite tough decision for the jury because both, men and women, were represented. But they were on a common ground that organising and conducting such events is a fun and positive experience for all. Winners were announced by Estonian Superstar Birgit Õigemeel and party soul Liilit Kirss.
This spring Student Gladiator and Miss Univeirty will be elected in Tallinn and the best Student Dancer and Student Talent in Tartu.
