Student representatives constitute the prime organ of EBS students - the representative body. The election of EBS Student Council representative body takes place in March. Each speciality has one representative per 70 students. When there are less students then this speciality has one representative. The assignments of the Representative Body:
To draw up the trends and plans of action of the Student Council;
Shaping viewpoints;
Confirming all ground documents of Student Council;
Electing the board of the Student Council;
Deciding the affiliation and resignation from other associations;
Communicating with course leaders;
Deciding other questions which are not appointed by law or ledger to the jurisdiction of any other institution.
Why is it useful to be a member?
you can be an important part of decision processes in EBS's, Estonia's and all European Union's educational matters;
you will get to know first about activities in EBS and you will be the link between students and Student Council;
you can create an international contact network;
you can participate in fun trainings and other joint events;
and much more!
Now (01.03. - 11.03) is the time to apply. For period March 2010 to February 2011 the number of members is divided as follows:
International Business Administration and IT Management, bachelor studies - 6 members
Business Languages and Administration, bachelor studies - 2 members
Entrepreneurship & Administration and Public Administration, bachelor studies - 5 members
International Business Administration, master studies - 7 members
Management Science, doctoral studies - 1 member
Applying for the Representative Body: 1) Fill out the application form and bring it together with your CV to the EBS Student Council, room 208. (You’ll find the application form in the home page of the Student Council or room 208) OR send it to the address esindus@ebs.ee . 2) Send a digital photo (jpg format) of yourself to esindus@ebs.ee .
